In Crowley’s Cult, to escape an unhinged and dangerous stalker, the renowned painter Zane and his fiancée found sanctuary in a centennial building. But appearance is always deceptive and nothing is as it should be. Zane’s presence unleashes a dark shadow from the past. The couple find themselves thrown into a world where violent deaths, bizarre rituals and satanic orgies become their new reality.

Take a sneak peek in an excerpt:

A few days later, Zane is in his art studio. It is a large room with walls and glass doors he keeps open even in the winter when painting. The view from there is spectacular. That part of the garden was carried out according to his drawings. It even has a small lake built of stones and filled with beautiful carp of various colors.

Despite the incessant messages and calls, he feels compelled to paint. He takes a palette and squeezes a few paint tubes on it. As usual, he positions the easel so he can admire the view outside, though his paintings have absolutely nothing to do with what he sees.

At first, Zane feels strange. That feeling of being watched persists, and it bothers him. He starts painting, using mostly red and purple. The strokes come almost instinctively. As the painting takes shape, he feels a deep ecstasy.

Only a few hours later, the painting is complete. He is astonished how he finished painting a large canvas in such a short time. Furthermore, he had no source of inspiration to paint. For the first time, Zane didn’t see the full image in his mind before starting to paint; he just painted what he was feeling without realizing that.

Zane looks at the painting and, although the image can still easily look like his creation, the sexual content is so explicit, that it frightens him. Suddenly, he senses a presence admiring the painting behind him. So close, he can feel the breath on his neck. Zane turns so quickly that he almost falls off the seat. But there is no one there.

He giggles nervously and feels silly for being disturbed by the stalker thing. Even being alone in the house, he still has the feeling there is someone watching him.
